Wine Tasting Evening Class (8 TUES evenings, flexible)

Cambridgeshire Wine School
Royal Cambridge Hotel (hired venue)
Trumpington Street

Tel: 01223 655391

Cambridgeshire Wine School’s very popular 8-part World of Wine course (once a week Tuesday evenings) is a great way to learn more about wine in a relaxed setting. You taste over 50 wines from 12 countries and cover every major style available in local shops.

Broaden your horizons, discover new favourites and learn to cut through the confusion when buying wine. Learn about storing and serving wine, typical wine faults, wine and food matching and a host of other practical subjects.

The course is designed to be flexible – if there’s a night you can’t attend, simply let the wine school know and you’ll be credited for that evening (and can pick it up whenever it repeats again).

You will taste wines made from all the main grapes used, understand the typical flavours and why wine flavour varies when produced from different parts of the world. You’ll also appreciate the way human intervention influences wine style.

You need no previous experience – the emphasis is on learning by tasting. It is also a great way to meet new friends who share your interest in food and wine.

Sessions run 7-9pm at the Royal Cambridge Hotel. You GET ONE NIGHT FREE booking the 8-week course against the cost of booking 8 evenings seperately and you spread the cost – it’s just £105 to reserve + £10 cash per night

Customer review: "Mark is a hugely knowledgeable presenter and a genial host. The sessions are great fun - you learn huge amounts and have the opportunity to drink excellent wine. The course is flexible so you can miss an evening and catch it next time. Go on sign up, you will not be disappointed."
